Mid-19th Century neighbors of Benjamin Edwards will be discussed by Sarah Adams, curator of the Edwards Place. The home of the former Governor's son became the site of lavish dinner parties, summer picnics and political rallies in the Lincoln era. Adams also serves as secretary of the Sangamon County Historical Society. She earned a Master's degree in Museum Studies at the University of Kansas and a Bachelor's degree from Western Illinois University. She has more than 10 years of Museum experience.
