Hanukkah ends this coming Monday. The Jewish eight-day Festival of Light is celebrated all over the world by lighting candles on the menorah and feasting on fried foods.

Leah Koenig is the author of a number of cookbooks, including “The Jewish Cookbook” and “Portico: Cooking and Feasting in Rome’s Jewish Kitchen.” Last December, Koenig shared recipes for potato latkes and other delicious Hanukkah classics with Scott Tong. We revisit that conversation.
