UIS emeritus professor of political science moderates a discussion on the proposed state income tax constitutional amendment between Steve McClure and Andy Manar at a recent Citizens Club of Springfield breakfast.

Katharine Eastvold works for the office of the Attorney General and is currently attending law school. She also finds time to be very active in the Springfield community. Katharine discusses her role as an Administrator on the FaceBook group 'Springfield Families Helping Families' with Community Voices' Bea Bonner. 

Chenoa Alamu is a violnist in the Illinois Symphony Orchestra. She is also the host of the podcast "Black, White & In Color". Over the summer, Chenoa brought back her class on Black Classical Composers and Musicians. She discusses it with Community Voices' Bea Bonner. 

Johns Stremsterfer discusses the Community Foundation for the Land of Lincoln's new visioning initiative, the Next 10, to grow the greater Springfield region.

Teressa Shelton has lived in nine states and three countries. After graduating from Belmont University in Nashville, she embarked on a career in managing medical practices. She lives with her family in Springfield. The Sergeant’s Daughter is her first book. She discusses it with Community Voices' Bea Bonner.

The US Justice System has always hung its hat on the correctional services that it provides to individuals who are indicted. However, one area that has never received the proper attention is what exactly happens to felons that have already been processed and paid their debt to society.
