Margo Price and the Price Tags - Bedrock 66 Live! Friday

This Friday night 10/23 Margo Price and the Price Tags will perform at 8 pm at Bar None, 427 5th St., in downtown Springfield.  Joining Margo is Lucky Patterson's Wolf Crick Boys. Tickets and more information can be found at www.bedrock66.com. Tickets can be purchased here.

Fronting the rock and soul band Buffalo Clover, Margo Price, an Illinois native, blends soulful vocals over the top of a Seventies era Rolling Stones style of country and rock. A side project of classic country caught the ear of an editor at Rolling Stone. Fast forward a bit and Midwest Farmer's Daughter, Price's first lp of classic country music will be released on Jack White's Third Man Records in March. Channeling Loretta Lynn and Emmylou Harris, Price's yet to be released lp has captured a tremendous amount of buzz.  Rolling Stone says, "Her voice aches with the same world weariness that permeates Loretta Lynn and Tammy Wynette songs." Price spoke to WUIS's Sean Burns from her home in East Nashville.
