Songs We Love: Levon Vincent, 'Anti-Corporate Music'

New York deep-house demigod Levon Vincent is as old-school as it gets. He doesn't do promotion, rarely makes his tracks available in digital format, and has resisted releasing a full-length album, opting to go the EP route since his first official 12" in 2002. That all changed this morning, when Vincent posted a YouTube video of "Anti-Corporate Music," a new song from his upcoming self-titled album, a 4xLP monster with no official release date as of this writing. (He also gave the track away to fans on his Facebook page.)

"Anti-Corporate Music" is a throbbing late-night jam, eight minutes of iridescent synths and sub-aquatic bass, all coated in analog hiss and chugging along at 126 beats per minute. It's exactly the type of tune that Vincent's fans look forward to with each release, and it's pretty exciting to think that we've got 10 more of these coming at us in the very near future. Check out the album's tracklist below.
