LBJ Tackles Divided America In 'All The Way'

HOOGLAND CENTER FOR THE ARTS

LBJ and MLK come to life in the Hoogland Center for the Arts' production of 'All The Way' in Springfield, this weekend and next weekend.  The award-winning play gives audiences a view of the inner workings of the Whitehouse shortly after the assassination of John F. Kennedy and the struggle Lyndon B. Johnson faces in passing the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

We sat down with Rich McCoy who plays LBJ, Tony Young who plays Martin Luther King Jr., and Craig McFarland who plays Hubert Humphrey.

Carter was the digital engagement producer at NPR Illinois 2017-2018. He graduated from the Capital Scholars Honors with a bachelors degree in communications from the University of Illinois at Springfield.
