Sean Crawford talks with State Journal-Register Business Editor Tim Landis.

On this week's report:

Tourism: A study commissioned by the Illinois Council of Convention & Tourism Bureaus says hundreds of millions in tax revenue and thousands of jobs are at risk because of no state budget, including no money for national-international marketing; Springfield specifically trying to get the word out that sites are open, other than the state museum.

Chatham water: Independent engineering firm to report to state EPA by end of April on analysis of water plant, chemicals and distribution center; latest episode of a fight that's been going on basically since the plant began operation in May 2012.

Springfield YWCA building; group of developers, engineers, city officials, preservationists toured the building last week and are scheduled to report back in April on potential development.
