* Executive Mansion memo - Between Capital Development Board and Illinois Executive Mansion Association. It says traditional bidding, prevailing wage, procurement rules will be followed for the private repair project. But there remains skepticism in some quarters.
* Lincoln-Herndon Law Offices - A federal grant paying for overdue exterior repairs, sign restoration, but still no end to two-year shutdown of site.
* District 23 Mercantile & Foundry - A women's apparel and accessories shop that benefits the Cochlear Implant Awareness Foundation has opened a store in Rochester. As with the original location on MacArthur Blvd., it will be staffed by all volunteers.
* Springfield gambling - Nearly $5 million in revenue since the start of video gaming in 2012. The money has been set aside, but not yet spent, for long-term infrastructure improvements.
