Narrative: This painting grew from working with the word immigration. The end result, stemming from my feelings about immigration, is this painting - the first in my series on immigration.

"Justice?" by Delinda Chapman

Title: "Justice?"

Medium: Mixed media on canvas

Narrative: Challenged by WUIS' call to submit art for "100 Expressions of 100 Days" led to what justice and injustice can lead to. Studying Charlotte Joko Beck's book Nothing Special Living Zen led me to my answer to what is injustice. The answer is not hate, greed, anger. The answer is love and compassion.
