Business Report: Economic Impact If AFSCME Strikes; Christian Bookstore Closing; Big 4 Update

NPRIllinois

Sean Crawford is joined by Tim Landis, Business Editor of the State Journal-Register.

This week:

* AFSCME Strike? Moody's finds the impact of workers going off the job could have a devastating economic impact on Springfield (and Champaign).  Moody's says the two areas have the most to lose if a stike occurs and if the budget deadlock drags on.

* Family Christian bookstore in Parkway Pointe going out of business (parent company liquidating); has been a Christian-themed bookstore in the center since 1994.

* The Big Four: Tim has brief updates of the YWCA block, Pillsbury Mills plant site, rail consolidation and Hunter Lake.
