Sean Crawford talks with State Journal-Register Business Editor Tim Landis.

* Restaurant closures: McDonald's on MacArthur Boulevard closing Jan. 31 after nearly 60 years; looks like it was a corporate decision after Chatham Road McDonald's expanded and a new one opened on East Monroe.

* Staples on Wabash Ave. closing: Feb. 11; company cites customer shift to online shopping.

* Urban park: Is the latest focus for the YWCA block to coincide with redo of the Executive Mansion after Indianapolis developer pulls out over disagreement on apartment numbers...lots of questions and maybe another round of requests for proposals from the city.
