Business Report: Gambling In Rochester, Hay-Edwards School Update And More Pizza

SJ-R

Tim Landis is the Business Editor for the State Journal-Register.

This week, we discuss Rochester's gambling ban that is no more. The first machines should go in this month after the community becomes the last in Sangamon County to lift the ban. Just how muich money will the town see?

We get an update of Memorial Medical Center's plan to move 230-240 employees into the former Hay-Edwards Elementary School this summer.

And more pizza: A Domino's franchiser from St. Louis has taken over the Springfield market and plans to add two stores to an existing Domino's on North Grand Avenue; one on the former Chantilly Lace nightclub site at Sixth and Stanford, and the other on Iles Avenue just west of Veterans Parkway.
