Everett, Washington, is best known as home to Boeing’s giant aircraft manufacturing plant. For decades, the facility provided jobs and a comfortable life for many of the town’s residents.
But the company is in trouble and has laid off more than 10% of its staff. And many young people no longer see Boeing or Everett in their future.
