FBI agents arrested Gov. Rod Blagojevich at home this week. He's been charged with a variety of corrupt practices, including attempting to trade President-elect Barack Obama's soon-to-be-vacant Senate seat for something of value.

Blagojevich is resisting calls to resign. The Illinois General Assembly will reconvene to decide whether to begin impeachment proceedings. Meanwhile, Attorney General Lisa Madigan is pursuing possible removal through the Illinois Surpeme Court.

Rich Bradley hosts with regular panelists Sean Crawford, Amanda Vinicky, Chris Mooney, and Charlie Wheeler.

Amanda Vinicky moved to Chicago Tonight on WTTW-TV PBS in 2017.
The former director of the Public Affairs Reporting (PAR) graduate program is Professor Charles N. Wheeler III, a veteran newsman who came to the University of Illinois at Springfield following a 24-year career at the Chicago Sun-Times.
