Ian Winterbauer says his poems deal largely with the Midwest - it's rural, poor towns and the eccentric characters therein. He says he's anti-academic, that "anyone could write poetry." Well, he certainly can.He recently nabbed a book deal - the work was just released, called "Scream as You Leave".
