Rauner's First State of the State Address - Illinois Lawmakers

Illinois' first Republican Governor in twelve years delivered his first annual State of the State speech to a joint session of the Illinois General Assembly on Wednesday, February 4. In this special edition of Illinois Lawmakers, Governor Bruce Rauner called on legislators to work with him to pass economic policies aimed at improving the state's business climate. House Speaker Michael Madigan (D) Chicago urged the Governor to focus on the state's current economic problems while Senate Republican Leader Christine Radogno of Lemont and House Republican Leader Jim Durkin of Western Springs welcomed Rauner's pro-business agenda. Hosted by Jak Tichenor with analysis from Rich Miller of Capitolfax.com and WUIS' Amanda Vinicky.
