Volunteer Depreciation: The Awards Showdown March 9th at 6:00 p.m. & March 10th at 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. The Friends of the Chatham Area Public Library is pleased to present this year’s murder mystery play, entitled, Volunteer Depreciation: The Awards Showdown, written by Ryan Byers. Byers, a Chatham resident, attorney and husband to Library Director Amy Byers, has written the last eight of the eighteen plays for the Friends of the Library fundraiser. Local performers include: Janie Bundy, Dave Kimsey, Greg Bishop, Natalie Young, Laura Mitkos, Megan Freeman, Tom Klein and Meghan Harmon. Performances are Friday, March 9th at 6:00 p.m. and Saturday, March 10th at 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. These shows have historically sold out and it is suggested to buy tickets as soon as possible either by mail or by stopping by the Friends Café & Bookstore to pay by cash, check or credit card. Evening shows are $25 and include dinner and a dessert. The Saturday matinee is $15 and includes dessert. Prizes provided by local businesses are given to winners of the mystery.
